Naraku no Futari

Sakura Rin is a girl who endures relentless bullying from her classmates, while Komine Yuuya is an honor student whose sole priority is keeping his head down and avoiding any unnecessary drama. Despite sharing the same classroom, the two have never exchanged a single word. Their parallel lives are shattered when Yuuya, succumbing to peer pressure and simply going along with the crowd around him, carelessly tells Rin that she should just die. To his absolute horror, Rin takes his words to heart and leaps from the classroom window. Miraculously, Rin survives the fall. However, upon recovering, she places the full blame for the incident squarely on Yuuya's shoulders. Overwhelmed by guilt and panic over the consequences of his actions, a bewildered Yuuya desperately begs for her forgiveness, promising to do absolutely anything she asks of him to make amends. Rather than demanding money or revenge, Rin makes a singular, unexpected request: she tells him that what she truly desires is love. Bound by his reckless mistake and her haunting ultimatum, the two are thrust into a complicated relationship neither could have ever anticipated.
