Legend dictates that the birth of a dragon guarantees an era of unmatched prosperity for its nation. When a new dragon finally emerges within the arid, desert-swept borders of the Rahan Empire, the realm anticipates a golden age. However, the divine creature is born not as a mighty beast, but as a fragile young boy. To safeguard this vulnerable vessel until he comes of age, the crown prince issues a strict decree: the child must be concealed deep within the most hidden reaches of the royal palace, entirely cut off from the outside world. Suu is merely a lowly servant navigating the sprawling corridors of the palace, harboring a single, desperate dream—to escape his servitude and flee with his beloved companion, Nadan. Yet his carefully laid plans are upended one fateful night when he inadvertently stumbles upon the empire’s most closely guarded secret. Drawn into the mystery surrounding the hidden boy, Suu finds himself entangled in a dangerous web far beyond his station. What begins as an accidental discovery soon spirals into an intense narrative of forbidden love, consuming obsession, and awakening desire.
