Tamamo-chan’s a Fox!

Fushimi Tamamo is a fox spirit residing at the Inari Shrine in Kyoto who harbors a deep fascination with the human world. Driven by an earnest desire to experience ordinary high school life, she uses her supernatural abilities to transform herself into a teenage girl. Confident that her disguise is flawless, Tamamo eagerly steps into her new role as a student, ready to embrace the everyday adventures of adolescence. However, her transformation is far from perfect. Despite her absolute certainty that she appears entirely human, Tamamo has overlooked a few lingering details—most notably, she remains significantly furrier than any normal teenager. Remarkably, the adults around her seem completely oblivious to her unusual appearance, failing to notice anything out of the ordinary. Her classmates, on the other hand, are fully aware that something is different, yet they politely choose to pretend nothing is amiss. Through their quiet acceptance and her own boundless enthusiasm, Tamamo inevitably begins to disrupt the mundane routines of her peers, bringing a lively and unpredictable energy to their otherwise typical high school days.
