Tsubaki is a popular and wealthy high school student who lives a comfortable life, largely due to his mother’s demanding career that keeps her frequently occupied with work. His everyday routine takes an unexpected turn one afternoon when he returns home from school to discover that his mother has introduced a new romantic partner into their household. This man, Reiichi, has moved in, abruptly shifting the familiar dynamics of Tsubaki's quiet home life.
