Kyoubei Kurokawa is a directionless university student who has fled his family home to live independently, only to find himself without a place to sleep. His precarious situation takes an unexpected turn when he is rescued by Asumi Nanjou, an enigmatic young woman attending the same university. After bringing him back to her apartment to tend to his injuries and learning of his homelessness, she offers him a permanent place to stay—but with one highly unusual stipulation. Under Nanjou’s terms, Kurokawa must become an "invisible man." This does not involve any supernatural transformation; rather, she intends to completely ignore his existence within her home. Bound by this strange agreement, Kurokawa steps into an unconventional living arrangement where he must navigate the unique advantages and glaring disadvantages of being treated as though he were never there. As he adapts to this bizarre daily life, he also finds himself drawn into the deeper mysteries surrounding his aloof benefactor, slowly uncovering the secrets hidden behind Asumi Nanjou's quiet facade.
