Testa is a brilliant young linguist and university professor whose exceptional talents draw the attention of the military. At the recommendation of his superior, Sergeant Rossa, he is recruited into the Allied Cryptanalysis Department during a time of global conflict. His mission is daunting: decipher the encrypted radio transmissions used by enemy werewolves. However, Testa quickly discovers that conventional cryptographic methods are useless against this threat, as the intercepted signals produce nothing but the haunting sound of a wolf's howl. Despite his genius, Testa’s initial research yields no breakthroughs, leaving him at a complete impasse. Realizing that studying the audio alone will never crack the cipher, he concludes that direct interaction with the enemy is essential. He resolves to capture a living werewolf to conduct a more thorough cryptanalysis, hoping that observing the creature firsthand will reveal the secrets hidden within their unique language. The pursuit proves incredibly difficult, exhausting every available resource and strategy at his disposal. After an arduous search marked by repeated failures, Testa finally s쳮ds in tracking down and securing a female werewolf named Yonaga. Her capture marks a pivotal turning point, offering him the unprecedented opportunity to unravel the mysterious code and potentially shift the tide of the war.
