Scott Pilgrim

Created by Bryan Lee O'Malley, Scott Pilgrim is a graphic novel series that follows the life of its titular protagonist, a directionless young Canadian living in Toronto. Far from ambitious, Scott embraces his identity as a slacker while spending his time playing bass guitar for a local band. His everyday routine takes an unexpected turn when he crosses paths with Ramona Flowers, an American delivery girl who quickly captures his heart. However, pursuing a relationship with Ramona proves to be far more complicated than a simple romance. In order to earn the right to date her, Scott discovers that he must face and defeat a formidable lineup of adversaries: Ramona's seven evil exes. What begins as a budding attraction soon transforms into a demanding physical and emotional gauntlet, forcing the laid-back musician to step up and fight through a relentless succession of challengers if he hopes to win her affection.
