Cuffed to You

Newly graduated and brimming with ambition, rookie police officer Jeong Taejun imagined his career would be defined by daring pursuits and celebrated arrests. Instead of the fast-paced urban action he anticipated, his first assignment sends him to a quiet rural town where the most pressing emergencies involve wandering farm animals. Determined not to let his enthusiasm fade, Taejun remains on high alert for any sign of trouble, desperate to prove his worth as a law enforcer in a place that hardly seems to need one. His chance appears to arrive when he spots a shadowy figure crouching suspiciously in a local field. Convinced he has finally caught a criminal in the act, Taejun springs into action and swiftly slaps handcuffs on the suspect. His triumph is short-lived, however, when he realizes the man he just detained is Yeon Jiwu, an ordinary resident simply tending to his own crops. Humiliated by his reckless mistake, the young officer scrambles to apologize and make things right with the wrongfully accused farmer. As Taejun attempts to mend fences, he finds himself drawn repeatedly back to Jiwu’s side. What begins as a clumsy effort at damage control gradually transforms into something far more complicated, leaving the eager rookie to realize that while his handcuffs were used in error, his heart might soon be genuinely bound to the charming local.
