Business as Unusual

At thirty years old, Kim Minjun is an ordinary office worker navigating the predictable rhythms of a standard nine-to-five job. As he grows older, however, a mounting sense of dissatisfaction begins to weigh on him. Trapped in a monotonous daily routine, Minjun feels an increasing pressure to achieve more with his life, haunted by the persistent feeling that something essential is missing from his existence. His carefully maintained equilibrium is shattered when Jinhwan, his ex-boyfriend from a decade ago, unexpectedly arrives at the company as a new colleague. While Jinhwan appears just as handsome and effortlessly charismatic as ever, Minjun is painfully aware that he has barely moved forward since their breakup ten years prior. Feeling stagnant in comparison, Minjun resolves to keep his personal history strictly separate from his professional life. He is determined not to let a ghost from his past disrupt his career, intending to simply keep his head down and maintain business as usual. Yet, it quickly becomes apparent that Jinhwan has returned with entirely different intentions, threatening to upend Minjun’s quiet world once again.
