Rent-A-(Really Shy!)-Girlfriend

A spin-off of the popular series Rent-A-Girlfriend, this manga shifts the spotlight to the endearing supporting character Sumi Sakurasawa. Sumi is profoundly shy, to the point where everyday interactions—such as grabbing a donut with an acquaintance or alerting a stranger that they dropped an item—leave her completely paralyzed with anxiety. Determined to overcome her crippling social fears, she devises an unconventional strategy: working as a rental girlfriend. By stepping into this role, she hopes to earn some money while simultaneously forcing herself to practice essential interpersonal skills in real-world scenarios. However, Sumi quickly discovers that raising the stakes of her social life might not be the foolproof solution she imagined. To maintain her position in the rental girlfriend business, she is required to consistently earn five-star reviews from her clients. This strict standard means she absolutely cannot afford to freeze up or panic during a date. For someone who struggles with even the most basic conversations, navigating the high-pressure expectations of professional dating without losing her composure seems like an impossible challenge, leaving her to wonder how she will ever s쳮d.
