Upon recognizing the narrative she is trapped within, the priest realizes that if events proceed according to their original course, she is destined to endure unimaginable hardships and suffering. Unable to simply turn a blind eye to her impending misfortune, he makes a decision that defies his intended purpose. Rather than stepping aside like a proper background character, he resolves to take matters into his own hands. To protect this gentle heroine from the cruel fate awaiting her, he has no choice but to personally train and guide her, completely rewriting his insignificant role in the process.
