9 Faces of Love is an anthology manhwa featuring nine distinct one-shot stories that explore the complexities of romance, fate, and human connection through a variety of genres and settings. The collection opens with "Return of Princess Rouana," following Asha, who is sent by her master—the feared sorcerer Cayan—to announce the princess's return to the Royal Court after forty years of presumed captivity. As Asha spends time in the castle, she uncovers a haunting familiarity and a secret Cayan intended for her to find. In "Believe Ye Your Eyes?", the impossibly handsome Sei is unable to see women due to a past accident, a condition he embraces until he unexpectedly spots his annoying next-door neighbor—only to realize he is completely invisible to her. As he investigates this anomaly, he slowly falls in love. Other tales include "A Short Game About A Chance Encounter," which uses a unique narrative structure to rewind and retell a simple love story through shifting possibilities, and "Automation," where two seemingly defective androids, 1005 and Shaa, develop forbidden emotions before discovering they are implanted with human memories rather than being faulty products. The remaining stories delve into heartbreak, supernatural mysteries, and self-discovery. "A Cold" portrays a couple who regret their breakup over a trivial fight, finding themselves unconsciously adopting each other's habits during the harsh winter. "Purple Eyes" follows Ruben, a young man with mind-reading abilities, who becomes stranded in a cursed ghost town and experiences the tragic memories of a girl burned as a witch. In "Leucadian," Len meets a heartbroken woman on a Mediterranean cruise who has traveled to the legendary cliff rumored to cure lost love for those who survive the fall. "Mint Flavor" chronicles two best friends of ten years who, upon reuniting after a painful breakup, realize their bond transcends friendship. Finally, "A Flying Lesson" tells the whimsical tale of Herman, who flees her tutor and adopts Lilda—a winged human boy who believes she is his mother—as she dedicates herself to teaching him how to fly.
