Yun Yeo-Myeong, a demigod on the precipice of achieving true transcendence, lost everything when a catastrophic accident stripped him of his divine power and plunged him into an endless slumber. Generations pass before a violent assault by a fanatical cult inadvertently awakens the dormant energy sealed within a young man named Nam Si-On. Drawn from his centuries-long sleep, Yeo-Myeong descends into the mortal realm with a singular, ruthless objective: to kill Si-On and reclaim the divine core now resonating inside him. Yet, remaining close to the heavily guarded human proves far more complicated than anticipated. What begins as a tedious obligation gradually transforms into an intriguing game of patience and proximity for the fallen demigod. The dynamic between them shifts entirely when the same zealot cult that woke Yeo-Myeong sets its sights on both of them, intending to offer them as sacrifices to their dark master.
