From a young age, Durua Valrose carries the unsettling awareness that she has been reincarnated as the doomed villainess of a novel. According to the original story, her fate is sealed: she will ultimately be killed by the male protagonist, Nocturne Edgar. Desperate to rewrite this grim destiny, Durua makes every effort to befriend him, hoping to steer the narrative away from tragedy.
