Sho Baba is an ordinary high school student burdened with extraordinary responsibilities. When his girlfriend and classmate, Sumire, gives birth to their child, Sho’s life changes overnight. Baseball, once a simple passion he enjoyed on the school team, transforms into a desperate necessity. Sumire faces her own quiet struggles. Forced to drop out of school under the guise of a prolonged illness, she hides the baby from even her closest friends while enduring a tense existence beneath the roof of her disapproving father. Meanwhile, the immense pressure to impress professional scouts begins to consume Sho.
