High school student Nakazono Erii harbors an unusual passion: she absolutely loves enka music. Blessed with remarkable vocal talent, she spends her days happily singing traditional Japanese ballads for anyone who asks. Her impromptu performances are a regular feature at her family’s public bathhouse, where she cheerfully manages the front counter and entertains patrons with requested songs, turning everyday business into a lively musical experience. Her quiet routine takes an unexpected turn when the cultural festival arrives. The popular band JOKER is scheduled to perform, but disaster strikes when their lead vocalist suddenly fails to appear. Desperate to save the show, the group scrambles for a replacement and quickly sets their sights on Erii. Recognizing her natural ability and powerful voice, they recruit her on the spot to step in as JOKER's new frontwoman. Thrust from the familiar comfort of the bathhouse counter onto the bright lights of the school stage, Erii must adapt her beloved enka style to fit the demands of a live band performance, embarking on an entirely new musical journey.
