Takumi in Love is Acting Strange

Hakutori Takumi is the undisputed idol of his school—a flawless, handsome young man who excels in both academics and athletics. To the outside world, he appears to have it all, possessing beauty and talent in equal measure. However, beneath his perfect exterior lies a deeply guarded secret. His childhood crush on his longtime friend, Nanaho, has spiraled so far out of control that whenever he is near her, his cool facade shatters completely, turning him into an absolute disaster. Unfortunately for Takumi, Nanaho has absolutely no romantic interest in him. She is entirely consumed by her obsession with her favorite idol, Kurumin, leaving zero attention for the boy standing right beside her. Desperate to capture her heart, Takumi decides to mold himself into her ideal type—her beloved idol—and begins employing every trick in the book to get her attention. Yet, his frantic efforts only lead to more comedic misunderstandings. This delightfully frustrating romantic comedy follows the chaotic dynamic between a hopelessly devoted yet tragically clumsy heartthrob and a completely oblivious fangirl. As their feelings continually miss each other, Takumi must navigate the absurd lengths love drives him to, hoping to finally make Nanaho look his way.
