Kurokouchi

Keita Kurokouchi is the undisputed black sheep of the police force. Operating entirely on his own terms, he has no qualms about extorting corrupt politicians by exploiting their deepest vulnerabilities. Through these underhanded tactics, he secures both illicit funds and classified information, channeling all his resources toward a singular obsession: solving the most infamous unsolved case of the Showa era, the 1968 three-hundred-million-yen bank heist. His solitary crusade takes an unexpected turn when Shingo Seike, a newly minted rookie officer, is assigned as his official partner. Highly capable yet deeply naive and idealistic, Seike stands in stark contrast to Kurokouchi’s cynical and morally flexible methods.
