Jappa no Amane

Mitsuko is a college student who spends his time working at his uncle’s hostel. While returning from an errand one day, he stumbles upon an unconscious yokai named Tenshi and decides to save him. Upon waking, Tenshi proves to be a ferocious and arrogant creature, yet he insists on expressing his gratitude for having his life spared. Without waiting for an invitation, the yokai declares himself a guest at the hostel, stating he will remain there until Mitsuko decides exactly what he wants as a reward for his kindness. As the two become better acquainted, Tenshi’s harsh demeanor begins to soften, and he gradually opens his heart to the young man who rescued him. Their unusual arrangement seems to settle into a tentative companionship, but the dynamic between them shifts dramatically without warning. Tenshi’s body suddenly transforms, taking on a mature, adult-like appearance. In this new form, the once-distant yokai wastes no time in aggressively pursuing Mitsuko, turning their quiet coexistence into something far more overwhelming and unpredictable.
