Ten years ago, a serial kidnapping case captivated the nation when 108 children vanished without a trace. The mystery remains unsolved to this day, leaving behind only one survivor and witness: Oyamada Yusuke. Ever since that harrowing incident, Yusuke has been burdened with the ability to see malevolent spirits. Unable to cope with this terrifying reality, he has spent the past decade withdrawing from society, desperately attempting to isolate himself from the world around him. His secluded existence is shattered when he crosses paths with Kanon, a member of a clandestine organization dedicated to combating these supernatural entities. She reveals that the spirits haunting his vision are known as "dolls"—physical manifestations born from overwhelmingly intense human emotions. Through an unfortunate accident, Yusuke unleashes a particularly dangerous doll named Masaki, an entity so formidable that even the organization could only imprison her rather than destroy her. As the fallout from this release unfolds, Yusuke makes a chilling discovery: Masaki is directly tied to the very kidnapping case that forever altered his life, forcing him to confront the unresolved horrors of his past.
