Ako Doumoto is a carefree high school student focused on her studies with exams still far off on the horizon. However, everything changes when she meets Katayose-sensei, the teacher and coach of the school's basketball team, with whom she develops an immediate infatuation. Enthralled, Ako makes a drastic change by cutting her hair and joins the basketball club as its manager in a bid to capture Katayose-sensei's heart. But her longtime friend Taiji, who has harbored romantic feelings for her, may be a more suitable match than she anticipates.
