Managing the daily needs of such an unmotivated master falls to Renee, a homunculus maid whose boundless obsession with Swallow drives her every action. While she dedicates herself entirely to doting on him, the actual operations of the dungeon rely on someone else entirely. Patrick, a skeleton who serves as the sole competent mind among them, is left to handle the overwhelming burden of keeping their stronghold functional. With a hopelessly devoted maid fussing over him and a skeletal subordinate struggling to maintain order, peace remains elusive. Surrounded by constant chaos and the endless demands of running a legendary dungeon, Swallow faces a uniquely frustrating dilemma: finding even a single moment of rest seems like an impossible quest for the world’s greatest monster.
