Mamori Ichifuku harbors a secret passion: he is an avid daydreamer who loves imagining his two male classmates, Taku and Kazuhito, falling in love with one another. As a devoted fan of this imagined romance, Mamori prefers to observe them from a distance rather than interact with them directly. His carefully maintained routine is thrown into chaos when he is unexpectedly cast as Cinderella in the school play. Lacking any natural acting ability, Mamori finds himself struggling with the role until Taku steps in to help him rehearse. However, this helpful gesture creates a frustrating dilemma for Mamori. Every moment spent practicing with Taku means less time for his two favorite classmates to bond together. To make matters worse, Taku begins showing genuine interest in getting closer to Mamori personally, entirely derailing the romantic narrative Mamori had so meticulously constructed in his mind.
