Unbeknownst to him, this transaction makes Haru the ten-thousandth customer of the charm, triggering the sudden appearance of Maneki Nekotaro—a living, breathing, talking version of the lucky feline. Nekotaro arrives with a singular purpose: to grant his new master one wish. Naturally, Haru immediately asks for help winning Chikako’s heart. However, a significant complication quickly arises. Despite his grand entrance, Nekotaro’s supernatural expertise lies strictly in financial matters rather than affairs of the heart. Lacking any experience in romance, the magical cat must improvise his strategies as they go.
