Kinki Chihou no Aru Basho ni Tsuite

After the sudden disappearance of his friend Ozawa, a former editor for an occult magazine, the protagonist begins investigating the circumstances surrounding his vanishing. Prior to going missing, Ozawa had been deeply engrossed in researching ghost stories tied to a specific, unnamed region, leaving behind a trail of fragmented materials that hint at an unsettling obsession. Determined to uncover the truth, the narrator retraces his friend’s final steps, sifting through archived magazine articles, eerie reader submissions, and cryptic posts from online forums that Ozawa had meticulously collected. As these disparate sources are pieced together, a disturbing pattern begins to emerge from what were once considered isolated supernatural accounts. The seemingly unrelated hauntings and local legends start to reveal hidden connections, suggesting that the horrors Ozawa documented were never truly separate incidents. This growing realization transforms the search from a simple missing persons case into a descent into a complex web of regional folklore and unexplained phenomena. The protagonist must now decipher the true nature of the place Ozawa was investigating before the same unknown forces claim another victim.
