A love that was meant to remain nothing more than a fading memory suddenly begins to move all at once. Kanae Meguru is a devoted movie enthusiast who spent his elementary, middle, and high school years harboring quiet romantic feelings for various girls. Unfortunately, his complete lack of experience in matters of the heart always left him paralyzed, unable to ever take the first step or confess his emotions. Determined to break this painful cycle of hesitation, Kanae makes a firm vow upon entering university: he will dedicate himself entirely to his film club activities and leave romance behind completely.
