Shougakusei ga Mama demo Ii desu ka?

Tokuyama Takehiro is a young game programmer who has recently been entrusted with his first major professional assignment. Tasked not only as the lead programmer but also simultaneously serving as the project's director, he quickly finds himself buckling under the immense weight of these dual responsibilities. The relentless pressure of managing such a significant undertaking for the first time leaves him completely overwhelmed, driving him to seek comfort in the one place that offers him temporary relief: a neighborhood okonomiyaki restaurant where he can quietly eat away his stress. It is during one of these solitary meals that Takehiro encounters an unusually precocious young girl. She approaches him with an immediate and inexplicable fondness, acting toward him with a warmth that feels entirely out of place for a stranger. What unsettles him most, however, is not merely her sudden attachment, but her unsettling familiarity with his life. She knows intimate details about him that no ordinary child should possess—knowledge so specific and personal that it evokes memories of the only person who ever understood him that deeply: his late mother. As this mysterious elementary schooler continues to insert herself into his life, Takehiro is left to grapple with a bizarre and emotionally charged connection that defies all logical explanation.
