Erio & the Electric Doll

A century has passed since the devastating war between humanity and artificial intelligence concluded with mankind’s radical decision to forsake electricity entirely. This pivotal choice reshaped civilization, creating a post-technological society where the remnants of advanced machinery have been largely abandoned or forgotten. The world now exists in a state of deliberate technological regression, setting the stage for a narrative that explores the lingering echoes of a bygone era within a future that remains hauntingly proximate to our own reality. Within this transformed landscape, Ange stands as the sole surviving electric automaton, a living relic of the very technology humanity rejected. She serves as the guardian and maternal figure to Erio, a human girl she has raised against the backdrop of this new world order. Together, they embark on a poignant steampunk journey through a society still grappling with the aftermath of its ancestral conflict. Their adventure intertwines personal bonds with broader historical consequences, illuminating the complex relationship between creator and creation in a world that has deliberately chosen to leave such connections behind.
