Nogi Wakaba wa Yuusha de Aru

Set three centuries in the past during the year 2018, Nogi Wakaba wa Yuusha de Aru chronicles the dawn of the Divine Era and the formation of the very first Hero Team. At the heart of this unprecedented defense force stands Nogi Wakaba, a determined young woman whose legacy will eventually echo through her descendant, Nogi Sonoko. Thrust into an era defined by sudden supernatural threats, Wakaba must unite with five other chosen girls to protect their world from impending destruction. Together alongside Uesato Hinata, Takashima Yuuna, Koori Chikage, Doi Tamako, and Iyojima Anzu, Wakaba faces the daunting burden of pioneering a role that has never existed before. Without predecessors to guide them or established tactics to rely upon, these six heroes must forge their own path, navigating the heavy responsibilities and sacrifices demanded of those chosen to bear the title of Hero. Their story lays the foundational history for all who would follow in their footsteps. This volume expands upon the core narrative by including Chapter Zero, "The Second Hero Diary," which provides crucial historical context to the unfolding events. It also features two additional extra chapters: "Shiratori Utano is a Hero" and "The Passed Baton," both of which further explore the enduring legacy, personal struggles, and interconnected bonds shared among the brave individuals tasked with safeguarding humanity.
