Ashita, Kimi ni Aetara

On the eve of her anticipated confession to a graduating upperclassman, a fourteen-year-old girl prepares to finally express her feelings before graduation separates them forever. However, instead of waking up to face that pivotal moment in her youth, she finds herself thrust fifteen years into the future as a twenty-nine-year-old single woman. The abrupt transition strips away not only her adolescence but also the opportunity to resolve the emotional milestone she had been building toward, leaving her disoriented in an adult life she never consciously experienced or chose for herself. In this unfamiliar present, she resides with three younger sisters who are currently navigating their own formative years in high school, middle school, and elementary school. This domestic arrangement forces her to confront the responsibilities of adulthood while simultaneously grappling with the unresolved emotions and lost time of her teenage self. As she attempts to understand how her life diverged from the path she once envisioned, she must navigate both the practical demands of her new household and the lingering question of what became of the confession that was supposed to define her tomorrow.
