Taro is a thirty-one-year-old man whose deeply ingrained social awkwardness is matched only by his thoroughly unhealthy lifestyle. Content to avoid the kitchen entirely and subsist without ever preparing his own meals, he has settled into a stagnant routine with no intention of changing his ways. However, his isolated existence takes an unexpected turn when he crosses paths with Haruki, the amiable owner of the local grocery store. Refusing to let Taro continue neglecting himself, Haruki playfully but firmly insists that he start purchasing fresh vegetables, sparking an unlikely connection between the two men. Their dynamic shifts dramatically following a chance encounter at a neighborhood public bathhouse. What begins as a casual meeting soon spirals into an intoxicating, alcohol-fueled night together, during which Taro’s hidden masochistic tendencies are unexpectedly brought to light. Rather than pulling away, Haruki finds himself drawn deeper into Taro's world, taking on the role of both caretaker and provider. As he dedicates himself to feeding, nurturing, and pampering the socially inept man, Haruki realizes that his feelings have evolved far beyond simple neighborly concern. He discovers a profound desire to envelop Taro completely, smothering him in an overwhelming and devoted affection that neither of them saw coming.
