Yamate Midori, a 15-year-old tomboy, is introduced to soccer by Hino Tsukasa, a boy who visits her island on vacation. Inspired by Tsukasa, Midori continues to play soccer, and when they meet again, she's determined to defeat him on the field. Her resolve leads her to enroll in an all-boy high school, setting the stage for a spirited competition between the two.
