Ranker's Return

In the early days of Arena, the world’s most popular MMORPG, a legendary player known as Meleegod dominated every leaderboard and shattered every conceivable record before abruptly vanishing. Behind the screen, this fearsome melee specialist was simply Kang Hyeon-U, a carefree young man who willingly deleted his character to fulfill his mandatory military service and prepare for a comfortable future inheriting his father’s company. However, that promising path collapsed within two years when a ruthless business rival orchestrated his father’s bankruptcy, leaving Hyeon-U struggling to survive through a grueling string of part-time jobs. Seeing his friend's desperation, Hyeon-U’s closest companion proposes an unconventional solution: return to Arena, reclaim the top spot, and build a lucrative career as a professional gaming celebrity. Driven by the dual desire to restore his family’s lost wealth and exact revenge on those who ruined them, the former champion creates a brand-new character and steps back into the virtual world he once ruled. Stripped of his old gear and starting from the very bottom, Hyeon-U is no longer playing for fun. This time, the resurrected Meleegod is fighting with everything on the line.
