Hoshi no Ponko to Toufuya Reiko

When Reiko stumbles upon a starving, mysterious creature resembling a winged cat, she expects nothing more than an ordinary act of kindness. However, her world is turned upside down when the peculiar animal suddenly speaks, introducing itself not as a stray pet, but as an interstellar salesman. This bizarre visitor claims to have traveled across the cosmos with a singular purpose: to offer humanity highly advanced technological marvels in exchange for a surprisingly simple form of payment. The alien merchant reveals that its desired currency is a substance known as "hahise," something it insists is remarkably abundant right here on Earth. As Reiko grapples with the surreal nature of this encounter, she is left with a burning question—what exactly is hahise? The stakes become dizzyingly real when the salesman presents his wares, including a miraculous machine capable of flawlessly duplicating any object. Faced with technology that could fundamentally alter human existence, Reiko must weigh the true cost of such power and decide what she is willing to trade for the impossible.
