Shin-Young jolts awake from a harrowing nightmare, her heart racing as she struggles to orient herself in the waking world. However, the lingering terror of her dream is quickly overshadowed by a deeply unsettling reality: she is not alone. Lying beside her in the very same bed is a man named Ji-Hoo, peacefully asleep. The sudden, inexplicable presence of a stranger in such an intimate space leaves her reeling, transforming what should have been a moment of relief into one of utter confusion and disbelief. As the initial shock subsides, Shin-Young and Ji-Hoo are forced to confront a revelation far more bizarre than their unexpected proximity. They discover that they have been engaged to one another since the day they were born. This startling truth upends everything they thought they knew about their lives, binding them together through a promise made long before they could speak for themselves. Neither can explain how they ended up sharing a bed or why this lifelong arrangement was kept hidden from them until now. Thrust into a relationship defined by circumstances entirely beyond their control, the two must navigate the complexities of a bond they never chose. As they attempt to untangle the mystery of their shared past, a lingering question haunts them both. Was this strange reunion merely a twist of coincidence, or is it the deliberate work of an unfinished fate that refuses to let them go?
