Anemone no Shishuu

Frio is a celebrated, best-selling author whose literary success masks a deeply guarded personal life. Terrified that the public might discover his homosexuality and judge him for what he perceives as an unremarkable appearance, he meticulously conceals his true identity from the world. Behind the veil of anonymity, he lives in constant fear that exposure would destroy both his career and his carefully constructed facade, choosing isolation over the risk of societal rejection. His secluded existence is unexpectedly disrupted when he crosses paths with Angel, a young man of extraordinary beauty. Despite Frio’s ingrained anxieties and the harsh realities of prejudice that surround them, an undeniable attraction takes root between the two. Their connection defies the boundaries Frio has built around himself, pulling them toward one another with a force neither can easily resist. As their bond deepens, they find themselves navigating a world fraught with discrimination and judgment. Yet, the profound draw they share challenges the walls of secrecy Frio has maintained for so long. Together, they must confront whether the strength of their feelings can withstand the weight of a society that may not be ready to accept them.
