The Regressed Demon Lord Is Kind

As the Demon King of Power, Zeke Mohr, faced his final defeat, the victorious hero issued a peculiar dying wish: that he live virtuously in his next life. Upon regaining consciousness, Zeke discovers he has been reincarnated as his younger self, Zeke Steelwill, long before he ever ascended to demonic supremacy. Determined to alter his fate, he resolves to abandon all ambitions of becoming the Demon King’s successor or reclaiming his former title. Instead, he commits himself to the hero’s parting admonition, deciding to pursue a path of righteousness rather than domination. However, this noble resolution proves far more complex than anticipated for someone whose entire existence was defined by absolute power and ruthlessness. The concept of kindness remains entirely foreign to the former tyrant, leaving him ill-equipped to navigate the nuances of benevolence and moral integrity. Stripped of his overwhelming strength yet burdened with memories of a violent past, Zeke must now grapple with an unfamiliar struggle: learning how to be good. His journey becomes an unexpected battle not against heroes or rival demons, but against his own ingrained nature as he attempts to redefine what it means to live a virtuous life.
