Crimson no Meikyuu

A man regains consciousness in a surreal, alien landscape bathed entirely in deep crimson—a realm utterly unlike anything found on Earth. Stripped of all possessions, his only companion is a mysterious handheld game console resting beside him. Upon powering the device, its screen displays a chilling greeting: “Welcome to the Labyrinth of Mars.” This cryptic message marks the beginning of a harrowing ordeal, as the console becomes his sole guide through an unforgiving environment where survival itself is a puzzle. The stakes escalate rapidly when it is revealed that this twisted trial is a zero-sum game involving exactly nine participants. Bound by the rules dictated through their devices, these individuals are thrust into a nightmarish world where cooperation may be impossible and escape seems like nothing more than a cruel illusion. Every choice carries lethal weight, forcing them into a desperate struggle where one person’s victory demands another’s ruin. Building upon the celebrated literary universe of Yusuke Kishi—whose acclaimed works have already captivated audiences through television dramas, anime, and feature films—this story receives a striking new visual adaptation. Tatsuya Mikami, the creative force behind Gokudō Icchokusen and Kiryuin Saeko Detective Agency, meticulously translates the original novel into manga form, delivering a faithful and gripping interpretation of this terrifying labyrinth.
