Suah is a petite, red-haired designer accustomed to a peaceful, drama-free existence. That routine is shattered one morning when she wakes up restrained to a chair, staring into the scowling face of Seung-hyun—her roommate's intimidating older brother and the actual owner of the apartment she has occupied rent-free for the past eight years. Handing down an ultimatum, Seung-hyun gives her just one week to pack her belongings and vacate the premises. Despite her frantic pleas and desperate begging, the coldhearted landlord holds all the cards. The dynamic abruptly shifts, however, when the two cross paths at work. To Seung-hyun's surprise, Suah is not only a vital member of his newly assembled team, but also one of the most exceptional employees he has ever managed. Bound by professional obligations, the pair find themselves trapped in an inescapable proximity for the foreseeable future. As professional and personal lives collide, Suah must figure out how to convince Seung-hyun to let her stay, while Seung-hyun faces the challenge of maintaining a professional boundary with the very woman he recently tried to evict from his home.
