Like a Sage

Solitude has long been the quiet incubator of greatness. For Sadaharu, a reserved high school student, this belief forms the very foundation of his daily existence. Rather than seeking out the fleeting distractions typical of youth, he dedicates himself to a careful, disciplined academic life. He spends his days immersed in the study of history’s most brilliant minds, harboring a deep admiration for their achievements and quietly aspiring to follow in their footsteps. His world is one of deliberate order, structured entirely around self-improvement and the pursuit of intellectual excellence. Yet, even the most meticulously constructed lives are vulnerable to disruption. The fragile equilibrium Sadaharu has built begins to fracture when an unexpected figure steps into his carefully guarded routine. This sudden arrival threatens to unravel everything he has worked so hard to maintain, forcing him to confront the limits of his isolated ambitions. As his orderly existence collides with unforeseen complications, the young student must navigate a challenge that could either shatter his aspirations or reshape his understanding of what it truly means to walk the path of a sage.
