Eternal Covenant

“I didn’t follow you. You came to me.” Ian Gloucester is a devoted paladin serving the religious nation of Derwin. Years ago, Cardinal Heron took him in as a child, and now Ian owes his loyalty to the man who raised him. When whispers of an impending war begin to spread regarding Arcaia—a powerful empire bound to Derwin by a longstanding peace treaty—the Cardinal tasks Ian with secretly investigating the source of these dangerous rumors. During his covert mission, Ian crosses paths with Sol, an individual who possesses the same rare abilities he does. This unexpected encounter exposes a grim truth: human trafficking is thriving unchecked within Ian’s own homeland. Instinct warns him that Sol poses a direct threat to his life, prompting him to keep his distance. Yet, every attempt to avoid this enigmatic figure only draws them closer together, entangling Ian deeper into a web he desperately wishes to escape. As Ian continues to dig beneath the surface of the escalating political tensions, a startling revelation emerges. The King of Arcaia’s sudden recruitment of specialized knights has nothing to do with preparing for war. Instead, the monarch’s true objective is far more personal—he is searching for someone specific.
