Gekkou

Gekkou, meaning "Moonlight," explores the unsettling dynamic between a deeply cynical boy and a seemingly flawless girl. Nonomiya drifts through his days consumed by boredom, escaping the monotony of his existence by retreating into his own imagination. His mundane routine shatters when he stumbles upon a dropped notebook belonging to Youko Tsukimori, a school beauty surrounded by constant rumors. Tucked inside the pages is a loose scrap of paper bearing a chilling title: "Murder Recipe." Intrigued, Nonomiya quickly pockets the note, only to discover that its contents are not a calculated scheme, but rather a collection of vague scenarios that could potentially result in fatal accidents. When he cautiously questions Youko about the notebook the following day, she calmly insists she has lost nothing. Shortly after their brief exchange, her father suddenly dies. The authorities rule it a tragic accident, leaving Nonomiya to grapple with a terrifying realization about the perfect girl standing before him and the dark secrets hidden within her writing.
