Blade of the Phantom Master

In the ancient nation of Jyushin, a specialized order of royal inspectors once maintained justice across the realm. Disguising themselves as impoverished wanderers, these covert agents traveled from bustling cities to remote villages, tasked with uncovering corruption among local officials and delivering swift punishment. Their presence ensured that those in power remained accountable, serving as a vital shield for the common people against tyranny and greed. However, the kingdom of Jyushin has since collapsed, plunging the world into an era of widespread decay. Without the structure of the fallen nation, corruption runs rampant, and the desperate pleas of the suffering populace go entirely unanswered. The protective system that once kept tyrants in check has vanished, leaving ordinary citizens defenseless against exploitation. Yet, amid this desolate landscape, a single royal inspector endures. Refusing to abandon his sacred duty despite the destruction of everything he once served, this lone enforcer continues to roam the fractured lands. He walks a solitary path through a broken world, driven by an unwavering commitment to seek out injustice and punish the wicked when no one else remains to answer the call.
