As they become increasingly entangled in each other’s lives both on and off the clock, Miku must confront the lingering emotions she thought she had left behind. Kosei presents a bewildering contradiction as a romantic interest, oscillating between sharp-tongued criticism and unexpected moments of genuine tenderness that leave Miku emotionally conflicted. His dual nature as both a demanding superior and a caring former partner creates a dynamic where professional boundaries and personal feelings constantly blur. This second chance at romance challenges Miku to reconcile her past heartbreak with the possibility of a future with a man who is simultaneously frustrating and affectionate, all while managing the delicate balance required when love and career intersect under such complicated circumstances.
