Subaru is a dedicated and serious young woman who stands next in line to become the captain of her school’s archery club. She consistently strives to meet the high expectations placed upon her by those around her, but this relentless drive often causes her to push herself far beyond her limits. Her greatest challenge within the club is Mikumo, a younger male member widely regarded as its most problematic student. Dealing with his unpredictable behavior constantly leaves Subaru feeling frustrated and at a complete loss. However, beneath her exasperation lies an unexpected truth: she secretly admires his unpolished nature, once admitting that she genuinely likes his unreliable side. Whenever Subaru finds herself overwhelmed by her own rigid sense of responsibility, it is Mikumo’s easygoing personality and relaxed demeanor that ultimately pull her back from the edge. His carefree attitude provides the exact comfort she needs during her most stressful moments. What begins as a tense dynamic between a strict upperclassman and a difficult junior gradually blossoms into something much deeper. This manga unfolds as a sweet and heartwarming romance, following a hardworking girl who unexpectedly finds herself falling for the laid-back boy who brings balance to her life.
