Adopted by My Enemy

Liana Le Merdi is the last surviving pyromancer, driven by a singular desire to avenge her family’s murder at the hands of the formidable Alseid Hallias. When she finds herself on the brink of death, the fire god intervenes and grants her an unexpected second chance at life. However, this divine reprieve comes with a startling catch: Liana is thrust back into the body of her three-year-old self, forced to navigate the world anew as a small child burdened with the memories and ambitions of an adult. Upon crossing paths with Hallias once more, Liana braces for the end. Instead of facing execution, she is shockingly taken in and adopted by the very man she swore to destroy. Now trapped within her enemy’s household, she must forge an uneasy alliance with him to unravel the hidden truth behind her family’s massacre. Complicating matters further, dangerous forces are actively hunting her down, eager to exploit her rare pyromantic abilities for their own gain. Balancing a perilous investigation against the constant threat of those who wish to use her, Liana faces an impossible challenge—surviving a deadly game of vengeance and survival when she cannot even properly pronounce her r's.
