Takumi Kayano’s life comes to an abrupt and unexpected end when a deity appears before him, bowing in deep apology. As compensation for this divine blunder, Takumi is offered a second chance at life in an entirely different realm. With few other options available, he accepts the offer, hoping for a peaceful fresh start. However, the god's streak of mistakes does not end there. Instead of arriving in a safe haven, Takumi finds himself abruptly dropped into the heart of a perilous forest. To make matters more complicated, he soon discovers that he is not alone—there are young children stranded alongside him in this hostile wilderness.
