Touhou Bougetsushou: Silent Sinner in Blue

Set within the expansive Touhou universe created by Team Shanghai Alice, this manga unfolds chronologically between the tenth and tenth-and-a-half installments of the renowned doujin game series. The narrative centers on Yukari Yakumo as she meticulously prepares Reimu Hakurei to confront an emerging danger stemming from the Lunar Capital. This celestial threat looms over Gensokyo, necessitating urgent action and strategic foresight as Yukari guides her protégé through the complexities of an impending conflict that bridges the earthly and lunar realms. Simultaneously, a Lunarian rabbit is dispatched from the moon to deliver a critical warning to Eirin Yagokoro and Kaguya Houraisan regarding the deteriorating situation in their homeland. This emissary carries a dual mandate: to inform the exiled Lunarians of the capital’s precarious state and to actively interfere with Yukari’s ambitions. As these converging storylines collide, the manga explores the tension between loyalty and hidden agendas, revealing that Yukari’s preparations may conceal a deeper objective that the lunar messenger is determined to prevent at all costs.
