Teppen no Himawari

Ryuhei Ohno has finally graduated from middle school, eager to leave behind the sting of unrequited love and the emotional turbulence of his early teenage years. Determined to turn over a new leaf, he enters high school with a firm resolve to make a fresh start and enjoy a peaceful academic life. However, his plans for a quiet beginning are quickly upended on the very first day of class when he crosses paths with Kunihisa Imaizumi. Kunihisa is a new transfer student who has enrolled in the academy completely unaware of its most defining characteristic: ninety percent of the student body is gay. Naturally overwhelmed and highly cautious of his unfamiliar surroundings, he keeps his guard up around his new classmates. Recognizing Kunihisa's unease, Ryuhei steps forward and appoints himself as the newcomer's personal protector, hoping to guide him through the unique social dynamics of the school. Yet, what begins as a simple act of goodwill soon complicates Ryuhei's desire for a drama-free year. As he spends more time by Kunihisa's side, Ryuhei finds himself unexpectedly captivated by the other boy's intense, unwavering gaze, threatening to pull him right back into the romantic entanglements he swore to avoid.
