Summary
Official Details
At twenty-three years old, Ko Inashiki has abandoned his youthful aspirations of becoming a professional manga artist to pursue a stable career as an office worker. Seeking independence from his parents, he moves into company-provided housing, only to discover that the assigned apartment is a dilapidated and aging building far removed from modern comforts. Despite its worn condition, this residence becomes the unexpected backdrop for a new chapter in his life, where the boundaries between his discarded creative dreams and his secure present reality begin to blur in surprising ways. The apartment’s tenants are exclusively women who all share a profound passion for drawing manga, transforming the rundown space into an impromptu community of like-minded creators. Rather than focusing on professional ambition or commercial success, these residents gather to enjoy casual drinks and celebrate their shared hobby in a relaxed, supportive atmosphere. Through these communal moments of camaraderie and artistic expression, Ko rediscovers the pure joy of creation, finding personal fulfillment and renewed purpose not through achieving fame, but by embracing the simple pleasure of connecting with others over a mutual love for storytelling.
